    I. Listening Module:
    • It includes four sections, 40 questions; total time 45 minutes
    • One is a conversation between two individuals
    • Second is a monologue/speech
    • The third section is a conversation among a maximum of four people set in an academic setting
    • The final one is a monologue on an academic subject

    Trainer will conduct Class Practice in:

    1. Short answer questions
    2. Table completion
    3. Labelling a diagram
    4. Multiple Choice
    5. Form Completion
    6. Sentence Completion
    7. Matching
    8. Classification

    Trainer’s input on: How to improve listening skills, complete tasks, watch videos and listen to online recordings, how to manage time.

    II. Reading Module:
    General Reading: It includes 40 questions across 3 Passages for total time 60 minutes on Social Survival, Workplace Survival & General Reading Topics

    Academic Reading: It includes 40 questions across 3 Passages for total time 60 minutes on General Reading Topics

    Trainer will conduct Class Practice in:

    1. Short Answer questions
    2. Sentence Completion
    3. Note/Table/Flow Chart Completion
    4. Matching Sentence Endings
    5. Matching Headings
    6. Diagram Labelling
    7. True, False, Not Given
    8. Yes, No, Not Given

    Trainer’s input on: a) How to avoid common mistakes in True, False, Not Given. Exercises with explanations
    b) How to improve reading skills: skimming & scanning, identifying tasks, time management techniques.

    III. Writing Module:
    General Writing: It includes Writing Task I consisting of a Formal, Semi Formal or Informal Letter in 150 words + Writing Task II consisting of a critical essay topic written in at least 250 words. Total time: 60 minutes

    Academic Writing: It includes Writing Task I consisting of a report to be written in at least 150 words on a given chart/graph/table/diagram + Writing Task II consisting of a critical essay topic written in at least 250 words. Total time: 60 minutes

    Writing Task I Practice:

    Trainer’s input on: Vocabulary for Letters, Formal, Semi-Formal & Informal Letters, Samples
    Trainer’s input on: Vocabulary for Graphs, Report, Samples.
    Writing Task II Practice:
    Class Practice in :
    Understanding the Topic, Determining the Task, Brainstorming, Jotting down Points, Critical Essay Writing Structure: Introduction, Arguments in Favour of the Premise, Developing a thesis statement, Counter-arguments, Conclusion.

    Grammar Skills: Paraphrasing, Pronouns, Adjectives, Adverbs, Conjunction, Active & Passive Voice, Parallel Structures, Punctuations, Sentence Types.

    Lexical Resources: Synonyms, Antonyms, Homonyms. Coherence & Cohesion.
    Sample Essays.

    IV. Speaking Module:
    It is a 11 – 14 minutes module consisting of :

    a) Answering questions about self – 4 to 5 minutes
    b) Cue Card Topics – 3 to 4 minutes
    c) Discussion with examiner issues related to Cue Cards or General Topics – 4 to 5 minutes

    Mock Sessions & Class Practice in:

    Speaking Tips, Eye Contact, Fluency & Coherence, Skill Development & Practice.

    How to deal with Cue Card Topics, Keywords, Coping with Nerves, Managing Stress on the Test Day.

    4. Explanation of Bands and correction methods
